Global Wellness Day is marked around the world on the second Saturday of June every year, and in honour of this special day, Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa celebrate in style, going above and beyond to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, both physically and spiritually. At Hideaway it’s always a resounding “YES!” to wellness, but with even more opportunities to look after your wellbeing on Global Wellness Day itself.
Start the day with calming Sunrise Salutation Yoga, to feel centred and serene. Next, pulses are raised at Aquafit, followed by a special afternoon Golfing Experience at the resort’s high-tech Golf Simulator and Putting Green. Other activities include a fun Water Sports competition hosted by Deep Blue Watersports, Zumba at the Hideaway football ground and Beach Volleyball against the staff team, and finally, a Sunset Healthy Apéritif Cooking Class with Executive Chef, Oliver Mette.

Our 101 suites are set on the beach amongst coconut groves and lush vegetation or on stilts over our beautiful lagoon, and offer world-class facilities and uncompromised privacy. At Hideaway Beach Resort Maldives each villa has their own butler to take care of all needs. Extremely private, our 9 different styles of villas, ranging from 130sqm to 1,200sqm, are amongst the largest luxury villas in the Maldives and all beachfront villas have a private beach.
All of our villas are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans as well. Inside, you’ll find satellite TV, DVD/Blu-ray player, home theatre surround sound system, IDD telephone lines, in room safe, mini bar, and tea and Nespresso coffee making facilities. Each villa has a pair of bicycles that you’re welcome to borrow and to explore the island on.
