What is Meditation?

There are a few misconceptions on meditation today. It is not a religious act nor do you have to do difficult postures like putting your ankle around your neck. I remember the first time I did it and the thoughts that went through my mind thinking on my goodness me; I am in the wrong place. These people are all whacko. That was one of the best things I have done in my life by staying there to see what it is all about and to learn from that.

One can do this simply by sitting or lying down and closing our eyes.

Meditation is the art of being aware, aware of what is going on inside you and around you. Most of us have been taught to be successful you must work hard; you must struggle, to fight, to focus and to concentrate. The harder we try and the more we struggle the tenser we become, and therefore the worse we perform

If one needs to perform at ones best at all time one need to stay relaxed and be aware of what is going on.

Meditation keeps us relaxed and aware and therefore will be a lot easier to perform at your best in any area of our lives whether in sport, business or personal life. You will learn how to reach your potential and ability a lot sooner in life doing meditation.

You do not have to go on holiday every time you feel you need to relax. One can go within to relax and recharge oneself.

Meditation is healing because you are in contact with you own spirit self and whatever questions you have for yourself will be answered by the inner self.

During meditation, you connect with your higher self and with the All Mighty One our creator. During prayer, you ask for help and guidance and through meditation one can get the answers from the creator, your guides and your higher self.
