Organic Farming:
WHAT IS ORGANIC FARMING?

Put simply, organic farming is an agricultural system that seeks to provide you, the consumer, with fresh, tasty and authentic food while respecting natural life-cycle systems.

To achieve this, organic farming relies on a number of objectives and principles, as well as common practices designed to minimize the human impact on the environment, while ensuring the agricultural system operates as naturally as possible.

Our Food is Becoming Less Nutritious!
When you grow foods using NPK (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) fertilizer, the plants grow fast, and reach the appearance of healthy produce, but they are hollow. They look good in shape, but their mineral content is less than half of what it was just 60 years ago.

"The faster a plant grows is pushed, the more intensive the production system, the higher the yield goal, the greater the chance that the harvest from that crop will be deficient in some set of minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants."

Why are Organic Grapes Healthier???
Grapes produce resveratrol an antioxidant that heals inflammation in the body
Now when a berry is sprayed with pesticides, herbicides etc. the berries does NOT produce the same amount of resveratrol
Resveratrol protects the berry as well from various insects and other potential fungus

Organic farming is a holistic approach to how to use nature in ones advantage to have the best results Soil Depletion

The health implications of soil depletion were forecasted in 1936, when the United States Senate issued Document 264warning that our crops were being grown on mineral depleted soil and that human health was suffering as a result. The following is an excerpt from the report: “Sick soils mean sick plants, sick animals, and sick people. Physical, mental and moral fitness depends largely upon an ample supply and a proper proportion of minerals in our foods. Nerve function, nerve stability and nerve cell-building likewise depend upon trace minerals.

There are between 30.000 and 50.000 living Lions around the world!

The population of these vulnerable animals has dramatically decreased in the past few decades with no solid reason as to why. It is thought that clashes with humans and habitat loss may be a possibility, but to help further preserve and monitor these creatures, they are usually kept within reserves and parks.

Tigers around the world are counted at 3.200. There are 9 subspecies of tigers

We have lost 97% of wild tigers in just over a century. Tigers may be one of the most revered animals, but they are also vulnerable to extinction

One of the biggest animals on the world, Elephant is counted at 400,000

Elephants and humans share a long history throughout our civilization. The expanse of the African habitat and the enormous size and aggressive posture of the African elephant has allowed it to resist captivity.

The black and white peaceful creatures, Pandas are about 1600 (since 2004)

Giant pandas live in broadleaf and coniferous forests with a dense understory of bamboo, at elevations between 5,000 and 10,000 feet. Torrential rains or dense mist throughout the year characterizes these forests, often shrouded in heavy clouds.
