Classic Margherita Pizza Method

1. Preheat oven to 250°C.

2. In a small bowl mix olive oil and garlic, set aside.

3. Spread pizza base with tomato paste then sprinkle over Perfect Italiano™ Pizza Plus to evenly cover the base, then place slices of tomato equally around pizza, drizzle with garlic oil and season with salt and pepper.

4. Place pizza in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and base is crispy, remove from oven then top with basil, cut and serve.

Try topping your pizza with a handful of shaved Perfect Italiano™ Parmesan just before you serve for an extra hit of bold flavour and richness.


1 large (30cm) pizza base
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 clove garlic, finely diced
Splash of olive oil
1-2 ripe Roma tomatoes, sliced
1/3 packet of Perfect Italiano™ Pizza Plus
Handful of fresh basil leaves
Salt and black pepper
